Pat Clark is an award-winning artist and filmmaker from San Diego, California. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Arts in Television, Film and New Media from San Diego State University. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Multimedia from San Diego State University. While my narrative and documentary work explores a wide range of subjects, my films often present focused views of larger events. My films have screened at festivals across the country and generate discussions wherever they are shown. My video installation work focuses on human memory and the manner in which we collect, recall and assign value to our memories. My video pieces rely heavily upon the use of archival material to create invented narratives which draw upon the past experiences of those who encounter the work.
