Decay Theory marked its first international screening at the Lucca Film Festival in Lucca Italy September 23-27. The festival lineup was amazing and I was honored to be included among these fantastic artists from all around the world. http://luccafilmfestival.it/en/
ENCODE was accepted to the 2013 San Diego State University School of Art, Design Art and History Student Award Exhibition. This show included some incredible work from some amazing artists at SDSU. I was honored to be a part of it!
For the third consecutive year I was honored to receive a student Emmy award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences - Pacific Southwest Chapter. Exorcism won for Student Production - Long Form (Fiction/Non-Fiction). Elizabeth Spitsbergen (Producer) and Joe Mangat (Director) were also Emmy recipients for this project. Producing this film was an incredible experience and the cast and crew were absolutely top notch! Producing a 35mm short as my last narrative film project at San Diego State proved to be incredibly rewarding. I am very proud to be part of this film!
I spent the weekend in NYC at the Videoart.net Experimental Film Festival where Decay Theory screened along with a number of other short films from around the world. It was an honor to be in the company of so many talented filmmakers. If you get the chance to see any of the films from this year's festival I would definitively recommend it!

Decay Theory has been selected at a finalist in this year's Cal State Media Arts Festival and will screen on Saturday, November, 10th 2012 at CSU Fullerton. I am very excited and honored to have a film in this showcase. For more information please visit the 2012 MAF website!
The Language of War (2011)
I am very excited to announce that The Language of War has been selected to screen at the Film Streams 2012 Local Filmmakers Showcase. It will be screening daily, along with 9 other wonder films at Film Streams' Ruth Sokolof Theater Friday, October 19 through Thursday, October 25. The showcase will open with a big, fun premiere screening and post-party in lobby on Friday, October 19 at 7:30 PM.
Decay Theory has been selected to the 2012 Art of Photography Show. The Art of Photography Show is an established and critical force in the world of contemporary photography. Now in its 8th year, this presentation of world class photography is truly exquisite. This well thought out exhibition provides value to artists at every turn, from first-rate viewing in the judging process to publication opportunities, well-attended events and lectures, photo industry connections and monetary awards. The judge for this year's exhibit is Julian Cox, the Founding Curator of Photography and Chief Curator at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
